Hi! I’m Emma Baty, and I'm the Senior Entertainment Editor at Cosmopolitan. In this role, I help form our TV and movie coverage, pitch and conduct interviews with celebrities with a particular concentration on cover stories, edit SEO-oriented articles, and cover live events like the Oscars. In addition to my responsibilities on the website, I also contribute and edit multiple stories per month in the print magazine. Those stories include guides to the latest pop culture phenomenon, personal essays, and cover stories. Previously, I was Cosmopolitan.com's News Writer, writing 5-10 news stories daily and helping with live event coverage. 

Originally from Grand Haven, Michigan, I’m a graduate of Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, with a double major in magazine journalism and art history. I currently live in Brooklyn.
